Where did the dream start for you?
Aviation has always been a part of my life. From a young age, I was fascinated by the idea of flying, exploring the world, and discovering the world from a bird's eye view.
The thrill of soaring through the clouds and feeling the wind rushing past was something that always excited me. However, my passion for aviation runs much deeper than just the act of flying.
What really drew me to the aviation industry was the people and the incredible technology behind flight. The aviation industry is a melting pot of people from all walks of life working together towards a common goal. Whether it's a pilot, an operations controller, an engineer, or a ground staff member, everyone works together to ensure a safe and efficient travel experience for passengers.
So how did your career begin?
My journey in the aviation industry began in 2015 with my first aviation course. It was here that I learned about the science of flight and the engineering behind aeroplanes.
The knowledge I gained from this course only fuelled my passion for aviation and solidified my desire to pursue a career in the industry.
Now, I am studying business in college, which will complement my aviation knowledge perfectly.
I am excited to learn about the business side of the aviation industry, which will allow me to contribute meaningfully to the sector.
Alongside my studies, I am also working as an operations crew controller, which has given me valuable experience and insights into the daily workings of the industry.
What's one thing you love about aviation?
One of the things I love most about the aviation industry is its dynamic nature. Every day brings new challenges, and there is always something new to learn.
The challenges of navigating complex regulations and dealing with unexpected situations can be daunting, but the satisfaction of solving problems and keeping things running smoothly is unparalleled.
