A Jet Airways spokesperson said, “All guests were deplaned safely and taken to the terminal. First aid was administered to few guests who complained of ear pain, bleeding, nose etc.”
The Civil Aviation Ministry has requested the DGCA to immediately file a report on the issue. Meanwhile, an official at the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has suggested that is could be a case of pilot negligence, judging by the preliminary information that they had received. Controlling cabin pressure is part of a pilots check procedures before operating a flight. The two pilots and cabin crew have been temporarily taken off the airlines roster pending investigation.
