Description

About: The EASA Multi-engine Piston Instrument Rating program prepares you to operate multi-engine piston aircraft under instrument flight rules. This certification enhances your piloting skills, equipping you with essential knowledge for both single and multi-engine aircraft

Career Outcomes: Graduates can pursue various roles, including commercial pilot, flight instructor, or corporate pilot. This rating expands career opportunities in aviation, enabling you to operate a wider range of aircraft in various environments

    Introduction

The Multi-Engine Piston - EASA MEP(A) rating extends the privileges of Private Pilot License - EASA PPL(A) or Commercial Pilot License - EASA CPL(A) and allows you to pilot aircraft with more than one engine. You will need an instrument rating attached to your MEP(A) qualification if you want to fly under instrument flight rules - IFR. The instrument rating enables you to fly the aircraft solely with reference to the in-cockpit instrumentation. You will be able to fly in cloud and other circumstances of reduced visibility.
