- Take this course at an IATA Training Center, Regional Training Partner, or on-demand as in-house training.
- Student performance will be based on an assessment.
- It is recommended (though not essential) that participants have a basic aircraft engineering and/or airport operations knowledge.
- Recommended level is Intermediate.
- The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or the equivalent level for other languages.

This course prepares you to identify potential issues with removing immobilized or disabled aircraft in a timely manner. The course content is based on the IATA Aircraft Recovery Task Force (ARTF) syllabus for theoretical training and ICAO Airport Services Manual Doc 9137 Part 5 Removal of Disabled Aircraft. This course follows the general format of ATA e-Business iSpec 2200.
