Aircraft Fuel Tank Safety Training

Bostonair Technical Training Ltd. online Training course in Fuel Tank Safety is designed for all manner of aviation personnel and is available as both Initial and Continuation courses.

Fuel Tank Safety course to satisfy the requirements of EASA and UK ED 2009/007/R and FAA AC 120-97A of March 2009. The course will provide students with an overview of fuel system safety considerations. Including: Historical incidents, ignition prevention, theoretical background and practical considerations. Syllabi requirements can be found in Appendix IV to AMC 145.A.30(e). 

Objectives

• To equip students in their everyday tasks to account for the challenges posed by the Fuel Tank System Safety issues, thereby ensuring the continued airworthiness of affected aircraft and maintain safety standards in the industry.
• Phase Two is for: Personnel of the Part 145 approved maintenance required to plan, perform, supervise, inspect and certify the maintenance of aircraft and its fuel system components”

• A background of historical FTS accidents and incidents
• A detailed overview of the concept of Fuel Tank Safety and CDCCL
• Documentation Examples
• Examples of typical FTS defects
• Examples of Maintenance instructions for inspection.
