Description

This course must be purchased by the employer or agency, rather than the candidate.

Candidates may only be enrolled to this course after completing ID and background checks. By purchasing, you confirm this is understood, and is subject to audit by the CAA.

    Description

All applicants or existing holders of a full airside pass granting unescorted access to the Security Restricted Area (SRA) are required to undergo GSAT training, except where the applicant or pass holder is already in receipt of equivalent training.

Employers buying licenses in bulk are provided with an easy solution to self-manage course access. You can also send us the names and email addresses of your candidates to manage on your behalf.

    Modules

This course includes the following modules:

    • Module 1 – The Threat to Aviation
    • Module 2 – Security in the Aviation Industry
    • Module 3 – Your role in Aviation Security
    • Module 4 – Access Control and the Screening Point

The candidate will be required to re-sit the course in full if a pass is not achieved. Tutor support is available upon request.

    Who should do this course?

This course is intended for those who require a UK airport airside ID pass. It is only available to those with a genuine need after the employer or agency completes a security background check.

Whether you are a chef in an airside restaurant, operating as cabin crew, or loading baggage, most airport workers require this course unless they have completed alternative security training.

This course applies to UK airports only.

    Certificate

This course includes a PDF certificate upon successful completion, which is available immediately upon completion.

The certificate is valid for 5 years. However, refresher training will be required if competencies are not exercised for six months or more (e.g., long-term sickness or extended leave).

Some airports may also require more frequent refresher training.
