    Designed for LGV drivers and/or Warehouse Personnel, this course package includes an awareness of Health and Safety, Working at Height and Manual Handling. Ensure drivers and other workers are aware of safety responsibilities and the hazards in the workplace. It includes practical advice on accident prevention in the workplace. Learners will also appreciate near-miss reporting, risk assessments, noise awareness, personal protective equipment (PPE) and COSHH.

    Learning Outcomes

    By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

    • Identify ways to help prevent accidents and injuries at work.
    • Identify common types of PPE available and the requirements to use them in the workplace.
    • Avoid manual handling injuries, using safe lifting techniques and available lifting aids.
    • Recognise common safety signs and know where to seek further training and information.
    • Identify the risks of working at height and learn ways to avoid slips, trips and falls.
