- Unit 1 is assessed through a written essay.
- Unit 2 is assessed by conducting quality assurance activities for at least two assessors, each with at least two learners. A qualified IQA must observe one of your activities, which your ATC Training tutor can do remotely. You must also create a sampling plan and provide evidence of how you ensure assessors are suitably qualified and competent.

Who should do this course?
This course will qualify the candidate to act as an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA). These roles exist in further education colleges, independent training providers and apprenticeship providers.
It will also be a useful qualification for those responsible for managing the quality of training and/or assessment within workplace training.
Pre-requisites
Learners must be aged 19+ years to enrol on this course and be able to carry out quality assurance activities on at least two assessors or trainers, each with at least two learners.
Certificate
Upon successful completion, learners will receive an externally accredited certificate from Focus Awards, a nationally recognised and Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation.
