Description
SUP Training designed to satisfy FAA Requirements in AC 21-29D and AC 20-62E for Maintenance staff training in Suspected Unapproved Parts.
This course is created with the intention to increase the level of awareness on SUPs and to provide the means for Parts Suppliers, Material Buyers, (Quality) Inspectors, Technicians and Maintenance organisations to detect and report SUPs to the aviation authorities.
Objectives
By the end of this course the delégate will be able to: -
Recognise, identify, and understand the procedure for Suspected Unapproved Parts
How to deal adequately with Suspected Unapproved Parts
Be aware that Suspected Unapproved Parts are a major issue for aviation safety.
Be aware that Suspected Unapproved Parts are not always bad parts but lack evidence for airworthiness
Have the willingness to report Suspected Unapproved Parts to the aviation authorities.
