Are you an experienced US Army AH-64D/E Armament/Electrical/Avionics Repairer? Then we have an opportunity for you to serve as an Armament/Electrical/Avionics Advisor (AEAA) in Poland as part of the Security Assistance Training Management Organization (U.S. Army SATMO) Security Assistance Team (SAT) supporting the Polish Air Force (PAF) Technical Assistance Fielding Team (TAFT).

 

As an AH-64D/Ev6 Apache AEAA you will support a team of diverse individuals to:

  • Conduct training (including classroom academics and hands-on demonstration) of PAF maintenance personnel with focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15Y AH-64D/E Armament/Electrical/Avionics Systems Repairer.

A week in the life of the AH-64D/Ev6 Apache AEAA includes:

  • Supervise inspections, maintenance and modifications according to directives, technical manuals, and safety procedures on the AH-64D/E armament, electrical and avionics systems and cryptographic equipment to include the electrical, electronic, mechanical, and pneudraulics systems associated with AH-64D/E Armament/Missile Fire Control Systems.
  • test, troubleshoot and repair test sets and diagnostic equipment.
  • Maintain records on weapons and subsystems.
  • Supervise operator maintenance on common and special tools.
  • Prepare aircraft related maintenance forms and records. 
  • Advise PAF unit maintainers in AH-64D/E techniques and procedures on all aspects of loading/unloading/inspecting weapon systems, utilizing Launcher Test Sets/AWM 101A/B, and troubleshooting armament systems.


Requirements
  • Must have a SECRET clearance
  • Eleven years of relevant experience required
  • Must be previously qualified as an AH-64D/E Armament/Electrical/Avionics Repairer (15Y).
  • Must have at least ten (10) years of experience performing or supervising helicopter maintenance.
  • Must have at least five (5) years of experience performing or supervising AH-64D/E maintenance requiring the skills of a 15Y.
  • Must have previous experience as an AH-64D/E TI.
  • Must be capable of providing expert-level technical mentorship.
