202003.Aircraft Technician

Synopsis 

The Airframe Technician is responsible for the removal, installation operational check, modification of components\systems installed on Aircraft, engine, or APU (as listed under the AFS Capabilities 1.9 MOE) in locations identified in MOE by using all applicable current technical data. 

Accountabilities 

• Ensures maintenance is performed to the highest level in accordance with relevant technical data and in that respect keeps himself/herself updated on general technical information. 
• Be proactively involved in all safety and health matters 
• Understands and follows procedures as required by the current maintenance data (Aircraft Maintenance Manual Engineering instructions, etc.), and company procedures. 
• Displays a professional attitude and ability to communicate clearly and effectively providing feedback for any issues encountered. 
• Maintains FOD clear working area by supporting housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness before, during and after work completion 
• Meets targets and deadlines as set by the Check Manager 
• Ensures all Aircraft documentation is completed in a timely manner. 
• Ensures any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition or clearly labelled if defective.
• Demonstrate required knowledge EY Safety Management System and Quality procedures at all times, as well as GCAA/EASA/FAA Part-145 requirements. 

Education & Experience 

• Proficiency in the English Language in both verbal and written 
• High School Diploma/Certificate and 
• Completed Apprenticeship at a GCAA/EASA Part-145 or equivalent maintenance organization with GCAA or EASA License OR Diploma from GCAA/EASA 147 OR Equivalent training school with GCAA or EASA License. 
• 3 years of experience in in Aircraft maintenance including hands-on experience working in relevant trade A &C, Avionics, Components, Structure with maintenance
