A320 MOC Duty Engineer – Budapest, Hungary - contract

On behalf our client Baseline Aviation are currently recruiting for MOC Duty Engineer to be based in Budapest, Hungary.

Job description:

Provide immediate real-time expert advice and guidance to pilots on the interpretation of the MEL dispatch and technical troubleshooting. The role is the primary interface between the maintenance department and the flight crew.

Manage the AOG recovery process including AOG spares request initiation and follow up.

Ensure compliance with all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements.

Monitor MEL/CDL/critical deferred defects across the fleet and ensure plans are in place to rectify each within the allowed time limit in coordination with maintenance providers.

Track and analyse repetitive defects across the fleet, liaise with flight crew to understand and advise on technical raisings as and when they happen.

Liaise with maintenance providers at each base to understand and advise on technical raisings as and when they happen. Ensure maintenance resource is located for all non-scheduled raisings in the most expeditious manner possible.

Obtain approved data from TC holder, STC holder or part 21 DO for approval condition whenever a/c damages are not covered with approved documentation data and/or when intensive troubleshooting is required.

Work with OCC (Operations Control Centre) to update the maintenance plan because of changes to the day-to-day operation, minimise schedule disruption.

Requirements:

EASA Part 66 Cat B1.1 and/or B2 license on A320 CEO is a must.

NEO/PW1100G and A330 type training (Level III) is an advantage.

Current Fuel Tank Safety training, EWIS training, Human Factors training.

Knowledge of Part-145 and Part-M regulation including Subpart I.

Fluent English language knowledge.

Five years’ work experience within a Part-145 or Part-M approved organization.

User level knowledge of AMOS and MS Office.

Availability to work in shifts (day and night), typically in 5on/5off pattern in 12hrs/day shifts

Terms would be as below:

390Euro / day

1Year contract with possible extension

Flight ticket is provided at the beginning and end of the contract

Hotel room in the first month of the contract

600Euro accommodation allowance after the first month (hotel booking or local rental to be made by the engineer)
