Adjunct, Avionics

Scope of Position

Lewis and Clark Community College is currently seeking an Adjunct, Avionics to work on the Godfrey, IL campus.  LC’s Mission is to empower people by raising aspirations and fostering achievement through dynamic, compassionate and responsible learning experiences. Key Measurable Expectations (KMEs)

• Develop and teach avionics courses;
• Create, administer, and grade assignments;
• Calculate and submit grades for students;
• Remain current on processes and practices in the field of avionics; 
• Provide support and guidance for students as needed.

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Avionics or closely related field; 
• Teaching experience at the community college level;
• Experience with curriculum development.

For Academic Year 2024-2025, the pay rate for adjunct faculty is $818 per lecture-equivalent hour.
