Description

Aircraft Cleaners are responsible for the satisfaction of (CLIENT’S) aircraft with the ability to adhere to specifications and Safety Standards. As an A/C Cleaner, you have a valuable role to ensure the detail of cleaning requirements of our fellow (CLIENT) Team members and Guests as well as the airworthiness of fleet assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Washing or cleaning aircraft using commercial cleaning products and equipment
• Inspecting aircraft parts for damage or defects that may have occurred during a flight.
• Storing cleaning supplies in designated locations on the plane to ensure that they are available when needed.
• Using specialized equipment to remove biohazardous material from aircraft cabins and lavatories.
• Cleaning and polishing metal fittings and fixtures inside the plane, including seats and tray tables.
• Cleaning and maintaining lavatories and bathrooms on planes, including scrubbing floors and walls, replacing linens, and mopping floors.
• Applying protective coatings to aircraft surfaces to prevent rust and corrosion.
• Dusting and vacuuming seats and carpets, removing trash from seats and bins, and cleaning windows and mirrors using specialized tools and equipment.
• Scrubbing and waxing floors and walls, cleaning upholstery and cushioned seats, removing stains and spots from carpet or fabric surfaces.
• Accomplish performance measures that cohere with CAS and (CLIENT’S) values of safety, integrity, respect, and trust

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications, skills, and abilities:
• Legally able to work in the USA
• High school diploma or GED certificate. Post-secondary program preferred.
• Driver license
• Able to work weekends, holydays, and overnight

Attention to detail
• Communication skills
• Time management
• Physical stamina
• Ability to work independently
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess the ability to:
1. Stand
2. Lie down
3. Kneel
4. Climb stairs, scaffolds or ladders
5. Frequently lift, pull, and hold objects weighing more than 70 pounds
6. Noise and vibration are common when engines are on, so ear protection is necessary.
* Working conditions: A/C Cleaners May be exposed to loud noise from aircraft engines, fumes from cleaning chemicals, and inclement weather conditions. This position typically works in teams of two or more using ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment to reach high areas on the aircraft. May be required to crawl into small spaces to clean hard-to-reach areas.
