Position

As an assembler, you will be in charge of preparing engines before they are shipped to customers. To accomplish this essential work, you will:

- Ensure product integrity, details, configuration and operational costs by following established procedures.

- Keep equipment and workstations clean and in good working order.

- Observe and review the results of assembly and testing work performed by others to ensure compliance with standards.

- Validating the effectiveness of tools, equipment, and methodologies.

- Participant and leader of continuous improvement projects.

- Taking part in technical training on engines.

 

Requirements

It is mandatory for candidates to have one of the following degrees:

- Vocational Studies Diploma (DEP) in mechanical assembly

- College diploma (AEC/DEC) in aircraft maintenance

- College diploma (DEC) in aerospace engineering

- Military diploma in aircraft engine technician

  • Technical experience required

- Knowledge of methods and procedures for assemling an aernautical engine, including concepts of adjustment and tolerance

- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.

- This position is in a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires a functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialised instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms.

- Ability to use precision gauges and measuring instruments, hand tools and other specialised assembly equipment.

Terms

  • Salary package: 5,500 CAD approx per month / 65,000 CAD approx per year.
  • 4% Salary increase periodically as per the clients policies.
  • Two (2) weeks vacation per year
  • SHIFT: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
