Company Overview:

Turbopower, LLC (“Turbopower” or the “Company”) is a rapidly growing provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services for gas turbine engines, auxiliary power units, components, and accessories to military and commercial customers worldwide. The Company provides services for Rolls-Royce T56 and Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines and holds numerous quality and customer certifications, including AS9110C, FAA/EASA Part 145 repair station and Rolls-Royce Authorized Maintenance Center certification. Turbopower operates out of a state-of-the-art 100,000 square foot facility with on-site engine test cells. Turbopower is an affiliate of Battle Investment Group, LLC and is based in Miami, FL.

Basic Function:

Perform Maintenance Manual level repairs, and/or Overhaul of P&W PT6 engines in accordance with approved data and published work scopes. Prior experience in the maintenance, repair and/or overhaul of P&W PT6 engines required.

Essential duties are as follows but are not limited to:

  • Disassembly, sub-assembly, and final assembly of PT6 engines.
  • Inspection of engine parts and related components.
  • Understand configuration & fits requirements during build.
  • Know and perform proper servicing procedures.
  • Ensure all work is performed IAW posted work scopes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of prior experience as an aviation mechanic, with a focus on the overhaul, repair, and troubleshooting of PT6 engines is required.
  • Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of tools and measuring equipment.
  • Familiarization with and able to read & interpret engine manuals, drawings/prints, and bulletin compliance.
  • Knowledge of aviation engines and components.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English and have basic toolbox.
  • Powerplant license strongly preferred.

A Plus

  • Experience as an aviation mechanic or test cell operator.
  • Experience in the repair and overhaul of Auxiliary Power Units (APUs).
  • Experience in Field Service work on related engines or aircraft.

Basic Schedule:

7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday, additional time as needed.
