Job Description:

 

This position involves performing structural repairs on large body aircraft. Also may include hydraulic systems and flight control and landing gear systems and identifies problems and issues for flight airworthiness.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to climb, including ladders, stairs, and portable stands and navigate these without assistance.
  • Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, chemicals, odor, and dust.
  • Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds.
  • Have environmental/mechanical experience with large body aircraft. 
  • Being able to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, T.O specs, and engineering specifications.
  • Must be able to assemble close tolerance parts and use common hand tools.

Qualifications:

  • Aircraft related Associates degree and/or A&P license and aircraft maintenance experience. 
  • Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
