The Role:

Open to both internal and external applicants, as our Aircraft Maintenance Production Manager, you'll play a crucial role in fostering a culture of service excellence and safety. You'll lead by example, inspiring your team to deliver outstanding results while never compromising on safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance to the team leads and maintenance planner, to maximize aircraft availability while minimizing cost. This skill is particularly important when related to oversight of troubleshooting but also the strategic completion of scheduled maintenance.
  • Manage maintenance schedules and staff to ensure optimal service delivery while accommodating staff PTO requests to the greatest extent possible.
  • Review team and individual maintenance KPIs and act on trends to improve team performance and report results to executive leadership.
  • Mentor and develop team members to become experts in their own right, so that they are prepared to become the next leads and managers. 
  • Assist the Quality and Safety team to ensure every task is completed only after assessing and mitigating risk of error and hazard. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless, safe, and superior client experience
  • Champion a culture of legendary service and safety excellence throughout the maintenance department

Qualifications:

  • Valid Canadian AME licence, M2 category with a minimum of 6 years experience
  • Proven experience in aircraft maintenance management
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on service excellence and safety culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive computer and technical writing skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Commitment to continuous improvement in service and safety standards
