Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:       

  • Position requires rotational OCONUS deployments.
  • Plans and schedules aerospace vehicle maintenance and utilization requirements.
  • Develop plans and establish production schedules to meet mission requirements.
  • Schedules aerospace vehicles, space systems, AGE, munitions/armaments, and engines.
  • Determines maintenance capabilities and aid in developing operational schedules.
  • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for known maintenance and operational mission and training requirements.
  • Coordinates with base activities to ensure support is available to meet schedules.
  • Manages aerospace vehicles, engines, armament/munitions, space systems, AGE, and selected equipment inventory data.
  • Monitors’ scheduling effectiveness. Schedules and monitors workload requirements.
  • Ensures appropriate leadership levels are advised of maintenance capabilities, limiting production factors, and adherence to maintenance schedules.
  • Uses automated system to schedule and monitor maintenance activities’ workload.
  • Administers work control by authorizing jobs, work priorities, and completion times.
  • Operates automated information systems and maintains equipment records to support applicable weapon systems.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and files documented information for planning and scheduling maintenance actions.
  • Maintains historical and flight status records of weapons and support systems. Manages the aircraft configuration, Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), Special Inspections (SI), and time change items (TCI) and their related automated subsystems.
  • Ensures accurate documentation of aircraft configuration, TCTOs, TCIs, and SIs

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • At least seven (7) years of Maintenance Management (Plans, Scheduling and Documentation) experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable maintenance directives listed in Air Force Instruction 21-101.
  • Possess the ability to cultivate relations and building partnerships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability for problem solving and prioritizing multiple projects.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2018/AS9100 quality standards and related federal/state/local laws and regulations.

Security Responsibilities

  • Eligible and obtain (if required) a DoD Personnel Security Clearance.
  • Must comply with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures.  

Language Skills

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the complex word and technical documents/diagrams.  
  • Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing and work effectively as part of a team.

Reasoning Ability and Mathematical Skills 

Must be able to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Must be able to calculate figures and numbers, and percentages and be able to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.  
  • Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladders.

  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top or under equipment.  
  • Must be able to detect odors, noises, bangs, etc., or other sounds to detect discrepancies of malfunctioning equipment. 
  • Must be able to distinguish colors. 
  • Must be able to perform Domestic and International travel as required. 
  • Shop floor environment.  
  • Will be working in areas with risk of injury from electrical applications, moving mechanical parts, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems under pressure and electrical motion systems.  
  • May be exposed to conditions of extreme heat, airborne particles, and loud noises.
