Aircraft Maintenance Technician - ABE | Allentown,

GMX is actively seeking a highly motivated, customer orientated Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our growing team focused on safety, service, and operations.

• Perform typical maintenance operations, such as cabling, component removal and installation, wire harness removal and installation, fabrication and repair or wire assemblies, and continuity checks.
• Must be able to determine if work can safely be accomplished if aircraft is in a power on mode and be able to conduct necessary testing if in power on mode.
• Must be capable and experienced in the removal and installation of avionics systems.
• Must know and understand manufacturer’s installation specifications or maintenance manuals related to specific jobs to be accomplished.
• Must be able to fabricate and install all wiring assemblies, static lines and associated mechanical equipment per drawings.
• Must be able to perform 91.411 and 91.413 checks.
• Own working tools must be furnished.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Experience on Piper, Cessna, Beech, MU-2 preferred
• Factory training preferred
• High school education or equivalent
• A&P License or ability to hold a Repairmans Certificate is required
• Individuals will have aviation electrical/Avionics experience working on aircraft
• Must live or be willing to relocate to the Allentown, PA area.

• Tech 1: $25-$35/hour
• Tech 2: $35-$45/hour
• Tech 3: $45-$55/hour
