Helicopter mechanic position
The helicopter mechanic works mainly at the Rovaniemi base. At the beginning of the employment relationship, the work is performed from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. When it can be ensured that the person is able to work independently and has completed all the required training and courses, the employee is transferred to the working hours according to the duty roster.

According to the roster, the work is carried out on a week on, week off basis, with the working week always starting at 8 a.m. on Monday and ending at 8 a.m. on the following Monday. Working hours are generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day. Work includes on-call duty: during the working week, the helicopter mechanic is on call outside normal working hours. During the on-call period, the employee must be on duty within 3 hours at the latest.

Required qualifications and conditions:

  • valid EASA Part-66 B1.3 license

Considered an advantage, but not compulsory (the company will arrange training if needed).

  • previous experience in part-145 base or line maintenance
  • Airbus H145 D2/D3 type rating is an advantage

Personal features:
A helicopter mechanic maintains and repairs aircraft, so you must be diligent and keep up to date with current instructions, regulations and maintenance information. In addition, the person is responsible for the equipment used for maintenance and its up-to-date maintenance. The helicopter mechanic is responsible for the airworthiness of the aircraft.

To succeed in this position, you need to be a good team player, but also be self-motivated and self-directed. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to react quickly to changing situations are required. As the company is international, you need to be able to communicate and write in English. Finnish language skills are an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement.
