This position is responsible for maintaining the Logan Health aircraft assets in an airworthy condition in accordance with the Manufacturer’s Maintenance and Overhaul Manual, the Federal Aviation Regulations, and the Company General Operations Manual.

Qualifications:

  • Current FAA aircraft mechanic certificate with airframe and power plant rating required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with aircraft required.

  • Current FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) certification required.

  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience working on PC-12 aircraft required.

  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience working on Bell 407 aircraft required.

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Responsible for maintaining the ALERT aircraft in an airworthy condition in accordance with the Manufacturer’s Maintenance and Overhaul Manuals. 

  • Ensures all maintenance activities are documented appropriately. 

  • Promptly reports to assigned leadership and appropriate stakeholders any change in aircraft status and the accomplishments of any unscheduled maintenance.

  • Maintains the hanger and maintenance area clean and organized, especially after performing any maintenance.

  • Coordinates with assigned leadership to schedule all maintenance, inspections and overhauls in a manner that minimizes disruptions of service.

  • Responsible for accurate entry of all maintenance records in the appropriate aircraft logbook.

  • Ensures all Aircraft Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives are compiled and stored in an accessible manner.

  • Assists assigned leadership with planning and budgeting by projecting future expenses based on anticipated maintenance requirements.

  • Responsible for the appearance of the aircraft by washing and vacuuming to ensure the aircraft is clean and ready to fly.

Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

Shift:

Day Shift - Variable Hours (United States of America)

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.  Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
