Aircraft Mechanic Apprentice

Precision Heli-Support, LLC is a FAA Part 145 Repair Station looking for an Aircraft Mechanic Apprentice. The successful candidate will have the ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

JOB SUMMARY: 
Perform repairs, maintenance, and modifications in accordance with applicable FAA regulations, Repair Station manual, and manufacturer’s instructions with little to no supervision, to include performing off-site maintenance and travel. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Using hand tools, power tools, machines, and associated equipment. 
• Inspect, test, repair, maintain, and service aircraft.
• Assist Sheetmetal Technicians when required, and the ability to perform minor sheet metal work.
• Perform minor electrical repairs and assist in avionics modificaitons.
• Reads and interprets manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, engineering drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. 
• Must have a basic set of hand tools required to perform duties and responsibilities.  
• Must be able to pass drug test.  
• Occasional travel required.   

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a high school graduate
• Able to use basic hand tools
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
