Volantes Technical Recruitment, on behalf of or longstanding U.K Based client have the permanent role of Aircraft Mechanic.
This would be a full-time role at their Luton base.
The Role
Perform and assist in the performance of aircraft maintenance whilst adhering to and complying with all Health & Safety regulations and internal processes and procedures.
You will be required to liaise with enquiries from customers, crew and/or third parties, providing regular feedback, as necessary.
The successful candidate will be actively involved in both line and base maintenance and may be expected to work away from base on occasion.
The Hours
The Engineering Department operates 365 days a year and you would be required to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
The standard shift is 11 ½ hours, plus a 30-minute unpaid break.
The average working week is 40 hours, although your hours of work will be those dictated by the needs of the business as a whole and the need of your particular place of work.
