Aircraft Mechanic II - Aircrew Flight Equipment
Powerhouse ResourcesMust possess specialty AFE training and certification for ejection seat-equipped aircraft, and be well-versed in the fabrication of textile products. May require training from the Government for other aircraft MDS processing in for storage, maintained in storage and demilitarized (DEMIL) as it relates to AFE duties. Performs the following functions on Advanced Concept Ejection Seat (ACES II) equipped Aircraft: repack, remove, inspect, clean, test, and repair. Performs the following functions on aircraft in the DEMIL process including: Removal of AFE related items, verify no explosives remain on AFE equipment, and prepares necessary paperwork. Accomplishes fabrication functions as necessary.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience.
