This is a full time / contract position for an Aircraft Mechanic located on-site in Vilvoorde. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance by removing and identifying parts removed from aircraft structures, powerplant and all other systems and components. You will work on a Mon-Fri base during working hours. this job can be performed week on/ week off in cooperation with our other staff and or your other contracting company if applicable.
This is a position in Vilvoorde, Belgium but might require short term travel within the EU.
Successful applicants must be eligible to work and reside in Europe.
Qualifications
- Part 66 certification ( active or expired)
- Aircraft Structures, PowerPlant, and Aircraft Systems knowledge
- Extended ATA Chapter 20 Maintenance skills
- Experience working with aircraft manuals, more specific IPC knowledge is required.
- Ability to identify and diagnose aircraft parts
- Strong attention to detail, organization and cleanliness
- Team-player as well as individually able to complete the job
- Drivers licence
- Good humor
