Aircraft Re-Fueler/Flight Line Technician - Queen

OVERVIEW

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fueling, towing and marshalling of private/ corporate aircraft
• Coordinate and direct ramp movements for arriving and departing flights.
• Operate ground service equipment, such as tugs, fuel trucks and transportation vehicles.
• Greet arriving/departing aircraft and provide baggage handling services as requested.
• Operate ground service equipment per the customers needs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive, service oriented disposition
• Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Shuttle service for passengers and flight crews
  • Refueling of airport ground vehicles
  • Grass cutting
  • Snow removal
  • Office and hangar light custodial duties

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Read, write, and speak English at a basic comprehension level. Basic mathematical skills. Good verbal and written skills. Able to follow instructions and work independently.
• FAA security and background investigation clearance, including fingerprinting.
• Must accept shift work, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to work in inclement weather.
• Must possess valid Drivers License.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• One year related work experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must regularly stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Lift and/or move up to 70 pounds unassisted.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts; may work outside under seasonal weather conditions.
• Noise level is usually moderate to loud. Hearing protection is mandatory.
• Complete FAA security background investigation clearance, include finger printing and drug testing.
