Overview

Job Skills / Requirements

• Provides security for Airlines by performing physical screening of Cargo through the use of various methods to prevent unauthorized items
• Provides security to warehouse and packages/cargo that are awaiting transfer in and out of the facility.
• Process mail and cargo products for transport to/from aircraft and truck
• Operate forklifts, tugs, and other equipment used to keep the flow of cargo and mail moving safely and in a timely manner
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Enforce facility and company policies and procedures as mandated by TSA and airlines
• Maintain and clean the warehouse and office spaces.
• Weighing and measuring all outbound shipments and complete required paperwork.

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

Additional Information / Benefits

• Must pass a 10-year background check to obtain Airport ID.
• This position requires the applicant to have a valid Driver's License and pass an MVR check and USPS clearance to handle and process mail, as well as operate equipment
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred
• Must be thorough and exercise sound, independent judgment
• May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature
• Ability to lift or move 50lbs regularly (With/Without Use of Equipment)
• Shuttling cargo to and from airport grounds. (Pulling Cargo Trailer)
• Reliable transportation required
• Demonstrate the ability to work with others and interact appropriately
• Weekend availability preferred
