  1. General

This is a full-time role reporting to both the Director of Maintenance and the Hangar Manager. The position involves overseeing the daily maintenance needs of the company's aircraft, including a wide range of tasks related to the aircraft and engine upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of all FAR aircraft maintenance regulations and requirements. Additionally, the candidate must embody the company's core values and culture, demonstrating strong communication skills while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

  1. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform aircraft maintenance following the manufacturer's guidelines, ensuring adherence to approved procedures and data.
  • Inspect aircraft, review maintenance logs, and address any discrepancies noted in the logbook.
  • Carry out both routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on aircraft.
  • Consult the Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Structural Repair Manual, Component Maintenance Manuals, and wiring diagrams to guide maintenance work.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately, in accordance with procedures outlined in the General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
  • Use only certified and approved hardware, parts, and equipment for aircraft installation and maintenance.
  • Foster teamwork between maintenance personnel and flight crews.
  • Assist in maintaining facilities and equipment as directed by leadership.
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols, maintaining awareness at all times.
  • Maintain the ability to acquire additional qualifications through training and education as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

  1. Qualification Requirements
  • High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) Diploma, or higher is required.
  • A valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate is required.
  • Must be able to pass an assessment demonstrating basic knowledge of line maintenance under Part 121 operations.
  • At least two (2) years of experience working on commercial aircraft in a Part 121 environment.
  • Ability to travel to airport/aircraft field locations with little or short notice.
  • Skilled in operating tugs, trucks, aircraft towing, lift trucks, snorkel lifts, boom lifts, tractors, and other maintenance vehicles.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to crawl, bend, kneel, climb, and stoop frequently in confined spaces. This role requires heavy physical labor, including lifting objects up to 70–100 lbs.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License with a driving record that meets the company’s insurance standards.
  • Active Passport required.
  • Successfully pass a two (2) year drug and alcohol background check, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history records check (CHRC).
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet use.
  • Familiar with accessing and using online aircraft manuals.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights.
