Key Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Aircraft Technician, your essential duties and responsibilities will include:

·         Assisting with scheduled, unscheduled, and special inspections in compliance with regulatory authorities and industry standards.

·         Participating in troubleshooting and performing maintenance and repairs on aircraft and engines, encompassing a range of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components and accessories.

·         Accurately documenting work order entries for discrepancies and corrective actions.

·         Assisting with servicing tasks, including oil, hydraulic, nitrogen, and oxygen systems.

·         Contributing to hangar maintenance and performing cleaning and housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

·         Enrolled in A&P School (this position is not intended as an apprenticeship)

·         A minimum of a High School Diploma.

·         Strong analytical and organizational skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

·         Proficiency in computer skills.

·         A knack for maintaining precise and detailed records.

·         Solid problem-solving capabilities.

Certifications, Licenses, & Badging:

·         Ability to attain a Love Field Badge (subject to background check clearance).

·         Valid Driver's License.

Work Environment:

In this role, you'll experience various weather conditions and may encounter loud noise levels in and around your work environment. Physical demands will include sitting for extended periods, squatting, crawling, climbing, and the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. You'll engage in daily interactions with clients, requiring tact, consideration, and a commitment to teamwork in customer service. Business Jet is an IS-BAO Stage III Certified Operator with FAA-approved SMS/ASAP Programs.

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must provide some basic hand tools.
