Assistant Manager – Flight Ops Standards & Safety

The responsibilities are as follows:

1. Prepares / review Risk Assessments associated with Flight Operations in coordination with Chief / Deputy Chief Pilot – Fleet and Flight Safety Department.
2. Prepare Management of Change (MOC) docs for all operational changes that affect safety of aircraft operations.
3. Monitoring implementation of mitigation actions as mentioned in Safety Risk Assessment.
4. Review and maintenance of Flight Ops Risk Register and SMS 360 Database related to Flight Operations and Training.
5. Act as Departmental Safety Officer for all safety related issues of Flight Ops and Training.
6. Responsible for arranging Flight Ops Safety Action Group (FSAG) meeting at defined interval, Recording minutes of meeting and follow-up of FSAG action items.
7. Maintains the Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) database of the department. 
8. Responsible for preparing Action Taken Reports on all investigation Reports received from safety and Track the status of crew grounded due to incident and their timely release. 
9. Submission of Corrective Action Plan (CAP) to Flight Safety for Observations/ Findings raised during Audits and/or on SMS 360 Software. 
10. Responsible for Monthly Compliance Statement from all stakeholders and submission to Flight Safety. 
11. Notify the Vice President – Flight Operations and/or Chief Pilot- Line Ops of any discrepancy or incident that may affect the ability of Airline to perform within the parameters of safety and regulatory compliance.
12. To attend various internal meetings as instructed and required and deliver Flight Operations Safety and Compliance Monitoring requirements as required. 
13. To assist Deputy General Manager- Flight Operations and/or Chief / Dy. Chief Pilots to fulfill DGCA Documentation and Compliance as received time to time. 
14. Any other duties that may be assigned by the Vice President - Flight Operations, Chief/Dy. Chief – Fleet and/or General Manager- Flight Operations.
