Assistant Store Supervisor

M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Located in Hong Kong’s WestK, we are one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world. The museum reflects our unique time and place, building on Hong Kong’s historic balance of the local and the international to define a distinctive and innovative voice for Asia’s twenty-first century. 

This is a fixed-term contract position until September 2025.

You will be responsible for:

• assisting in the set-up of Pop-up Store at Hong Kong International Airport ;

• assisting in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations in the pop-up store, including staff scheduling and deployment, performance customer services to visitors;

• building a strong customer relationship and brand loyalty;

• managing and monitoring visual merchandising, maintaining an optimal inventory level and controlling cost;

• liaising with manager and supervisors in improving operations efficiency when necessary;

• monitoring and managing cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy;

• preparing weekly sales reports and other update for management;

• liaising with IT team for relevant system issues;

• proposing and working closely with relevant parties on marketing promotions; and

• assisting in other ad hoc task as assigned.

You should:

• possess a recognised diploma or above in any discipline;

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in retail/ customer service industry; possess good knowledge of retail point of sale system like Xstore and SOP processes;

• have proven track record of driving sales and meeting KPIs successfully;

• be detail-minded, mature, independent, good at problem solving and nurturing customer relations;

• have effective communication and leadership skills;

• have strong sense of commitment and ownership;

• be proficient in computer skills including MS Office;

• be able to work on shift;

• be proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese; and

• Working Location: Hong Kong International Airport.
