Associate Engineer - Avionics

Since 2001, Northrop Grumman has delivered Through-Life Support to the Royal Australian Air Force’s 34 Squadron located at RAAF Fairbairn in Canberra. The high-performing Northrop Grumman SPA (Special Purpose Aircraft) team is comprised of approximately 50 staff who provide all levels of maintenance, training and logistics support to the fleet of two Boeing BBJ’s and three Dassault Falcon 7X’s Business Jets. 

Your Role 

As an Associate Engineer – Avionics within our Special Purpose Aircraft team, you will:  

• Provide technical support services across multiple aircraft types 

• Process technical information, repair and modification designs to meet aircraft availability needs.  

• Develop compliance assessment reports for repairs and modifications.  

• Obtain and Utilise Engineering Authority 

About You 

With a passion for Aviation or defence industry, you will have a desire to learn and grow your career, You will also be.

• Qualified Engineer in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electrical or Avionics 

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills is essential for success in this position. 

• Basic understanding of CASA Engineering frameworks
