Qatar Aeronautical Academy (QAA) is a Centre of excellence for Aviation Training in the Middle East, based in Doha, Qatar.

QAA currently delivers approved EASA B1, B2 and A1.1 License, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses as well as ATSEP Ground Avionics courses.  QAA also delivers courses in Pilot Training, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Meteorology (MET) and Airport Operations Management (AOM).

QAA invites professionals meeting the following requirements to join the ATC Training department as ATC Instructor

Are you in possession of excellent Instructional skills coupled with the following qualification and experience? If so, we think you'd love this role!

The minimum qualifications and work experience requirement:

1. Holder of an ATC license issued by an ICAO Contracting State in accordance with ICAO Annex one and endorsed with the following ratings:

•  Aerodrome control rating, Approach control procedural rating (APP) and Approach control surveillance rating (APS)

                    or

• Aerodrome control rating and Area Control Surveillance rating (ACS)

      2. Have certificates in the following training.

• Instructional techniques
• ATC Simulator training or OJTI

     3. Have ICAO Level 5 English Language Proficiency.

     4. Have the following experience.

• At least 5 years' work experience as an Air Traffic Controller in operational duties
• At least 2 years’ experience as an instructor at an Approved ATC Training Organization including experience in teaching ICAO syllabus.
• Experience in conducting ATC simulator training and evaluation of students’ performance.
• Excellent organization, communication, computer operations, leadership and team building skills are required.
