Avionics Mechanic

• Perform typical maintenance operations, such as cabling, component removal and installation, wire harness removal and installation, fabrication, and repair of wire assemblies, and continuity checks.
• Must be able to determine if work can safely be accomplished if the aircraft is in a power-on mode and be able to conduct necessary testing if in a power-on mode.
• Must be capable and experienced in the removal and installation of avionics systems.
• Must know and understand the manufacturer’s installation specifications or maintenance manuals related to specific jobs to be accomplished.
• Must be able to fabricate and install all wiring assemblies, static lines, and associated mechanical equipment per drawings.
• Must be able to perform 91.411 and 91.413 checks
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by Manager.

• Experience on Piper, Cessna, Beech, MU-2 preferred
• Experience with Garmin, Bendix preferred
• High school education or equivalent
• A&P License or ability to hold a Repairmans Certificate is required
• Individuals will have aviation electrical/Avionics experience working on aircraft.
• Must live or be willing to relocate to the Hazle Township, PA area.
