• Working with customer and member system personnel, analyze electrical loads requirements, define system interfaces and utility system logic, support trade studies and change proposals, formulate system functional test requirements, ensure technical documentation is provided, reviewed and approved in accord with program schedules.

• Retrieve System Level Requirements / Software requirements in DOORS to Assist in PR Investigations with the customer, and System Experts .

• Perform HW and SW updates of equipment in Aircraft system Integration Labs, Airplane production and flight test Vehicles and also oversee and assist HW and SW installation in those facilities/locations.

• Install and operate data collection systems for Test airplanes and labs, this will involve use of proprietary Data collection tools like Wireshark and ARINC data recorders to gather airplane and Lab test data used to evaluate test data points and also to perform On-wing troubleshooting.

• Participate in airplane production and flight/ground testing involving power systems and interfacing systems; avionics and network equipment, Central Maintenance System (OMS), Displays elements and other member systems.

• Assist in the tracking and resolution of these Problem Reports including regression testing. Provide appropriate feedback to Customer regarding various problem reports generated during POST SOF testing, System Acceptance testing and finally in Certification Testing.

• As needed follow the test Aircraft to Various Customer location for testing and integration activities. Willing to travel frequently between Canada and US

Qualifications

Electrical Engineer with DOORs and Data recorder (wireshark or ARINC), with Software and Hardware Experience
