Avionics Technician III

As an Avionics Technician III, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting and repairing avionics components, and maintaining test equipment, tools, and manuals. Qualifications You Must Have:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 5 or more years of relevant experience
• A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
• Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Ability to understand and interpret basic applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings  
• Advanced skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering, and crimping techniques
• Proficient skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering, and crimping techniques
• Attention to minute details and differences in drawings specific to each aircraft configuration
• Able to work in small areas for long periods of time
• Ability to work as a team to get the mission completed with little to no quality discrepancies
• Ability to work on projects under little to no supervision Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Familiarity with Edwards AFB

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $33.38 - $45.90. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
