Alpine Aerotech is currently seeking a highly motivated Avionics Technician to join our rapidly expanding team in Kelowna.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AVIONICS TECHNICIANShowcase a thorough understanding of aircraft systems such as: electrical, generation and navigation, communications, and auto-flight systems on small piston helicopters, small and medium turbine helicopter;
Perform maintenance and installation of avionics systems in accordance with applicable drawings and manuals;
Troubleshoot avionics systems to diagnose and perform adjustments, service, repairs and modifications according to SOPs;
Perform and document scheduled and unscheduled maintenance;
Complete and certify tasks and related documentation;
Assist in training Avionics Apprentices;
Fulfill additional duties as required; and
Uphold an unwavering standard of excellence that impeccably represents the Alpine Aerotech brand.
AME-E Transport Canada license;
Experience with maintenance and installation of avionics and related electrical systems;
Previous avionics and electrical systems experience on Bell, Airbus or Leonardo aircraft considered an asset;
Valid driver’s license;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to generate high quality deliverables;
Strong time and project management skills and self-motivation;
Robust interpersonal skills, high emotional intelligence, and professional maturity with demonstrated ability to effectively interact and build professional relationships;
Awareness of the sensitivity of information received and appropriate handling; and
Know what it means to work smarter, not harder.
