Avionics Type Engineer

First People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Avionics Type Engineer. Reporting to the CAMO Manager and based at the company’s head office in Aberdeen, the Avionics Type Engineer is responsible for providing the continuing airworthiness support of their fleet of aircraft. 

Applicants must have the following attributes:

• Comprehensive working knowledge of Part M, Part CAMO and Part 145 regulation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Display Supervisory leadership skills.
• Excellent Team Player.

 Experience / Requirements:

• Relevant work experience as Part 66 Licensed Engineer B2 in Line or Base Maintenance, or prior experience as a Type Engineer with Engineering Degree.
• Supervisory Experience preferred.
• Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices.
• Good knowledge of SMS reporting and Quality systems.
