We are proud to support one of the leading helicopter transportation providers in the Mediterranean in their search for experienced AW139 Captain and Co-Pilots for Contract roles.

Our client seeks skilled pilots who are passionate about their work and adaptable to operating across various locations, aligning with the organization’s values, standards, and operational guidelines.

Our client specializes in critical medivac operations, providing rapid and reliable air medical transportation across the Mediterranean region. This role requires dedicated pilots with the skills and resilience to perform life-saving missions under challenging conditions. As an AW139 pilot, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient medivac flights, working alongside a highly skilled team to deliver essential medical support to those in urgent need. Captain Requirements:

  • Valid EASA ATPL(H)
  • Valid Instrument Rating
  • Total Flight Hours: Minimum of 3,000 hours
  • Command Hours: Minimum of 1,500 hours, with 1,200 hours on multi-engine helicopters
  • Experience on Type: Minimum of 100 hours on type (AW139)
  • Offshore Experience: Minimum of 1 year
  • Recent Night Offshore Cycles: At least 3 in the past 90 days (a night cycle includes take-off, approach, and landing at an offshore location; simulator may be used, but alternating with real operations is required)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Dangerous Goods Awareness: Refresher every 2 years (or per local regulatory requirements)
  • Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET): Completed within the last 4 years
  • CRM (Crew Resource Management): Initial and annual refresher training


First Officer Requirements

  • Valid EASA CPL(H) or ATPL(H)
  • Valid Instrument Rating
  • Total Flight Hours: Minimum of 500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Flight Hours: Minimum of 250 hours (500 hours preferred)
  • Command Hours: Minimum of 100 hours
  • Experience on Type: Minimum of 50 hours on type (AW139)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Dangerous Goods Awareness: Refresher every 2 years (or per local regulatory requirements)
  • Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET): Completed within the last 4 years
  • CRM (Crew Resource Management): Initial and annual refresher training
