B1 Licensed Engineer

JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Oman, looking to recruit a new B1 Licensed Engineer to join their team.

This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a 4 month Fixed Term Contract based in Muscat, Oman.

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft types.

Other Duties Involve

• Carrying out routine and non-routine inspections, troubleshooting and rectifications
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Completing detailed technical reports and maintenance records
• Collaborating closely with other engineering teams to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Managing parts and materials to ensure timely availability for maintenance tasks
• Assisting in the development and continuous improvement of maintenance procedures
• Ensuring all work is performed in line with company procedures, best practices and safety protocols

In order to be successful in this role the B1 Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes

• UK CAA Part 66 B1 License
• Type rating on the Boeing 737 MAX and logbooks showing 6 months of recency within the last 2 years
• Line maintenance experience on commercial aircraft
• A valid diploma/apprenticeship or equivalent
