We are excited to present permanent roles for UKCAA Issued B1.3 and B2 Engineers on behalf of our esteemed client, a well-established Aberdeen-based aviation company. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a professional and dedicated maintenance team responsible for the upkeep and servicing of a multi-type fleet of helicopters, including the AW139, S92, and H175.

Role Summary

As a B1.3 or B2 Engineer, you will report to the Shift Supervisor and play an integral part in delivering helicopters to the flight line to meet the needs of our customers. You will be expected to maintain the highest standards in aircraft and component maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company procedures.

While preference will be given to candidates with the AW139, S92, or H175 Type Rating, engineers without type ratings will be considered with a view to enrolling on the next available type course.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the required authorizations for aircraft and components in your area of responsibility.

  • Ensure the quality of your own work and that of non-certifying technicians under your supervision.

  • Accurately compile documentation and certify maintenance work within your scope of authority.

  • Ensure that all documentation used during maintenance is up to date and meets the correct revision status.

  • Stay current with amendments to Company Procedures, Manuals, and relevant technical data provisions.

  • Ensure proper control of tools used during maintenance.

  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work areas.

  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies in your area.

  • Familiarize yourself with Company IT systems (AMOS, training provided).

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • A UKCAA Part 66 Licence.

  • AW139, S92, or H175 Type Rating is preferred, but engineers without these ratings will be considered.

  • Awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirements.

  • Computer literate (experience with AMOS MRO software is preferred but not essential).

  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and take on tasks outside your primary trade discipline.

  • High level of professionalism with the ability to work independently and unsupervised.

  • Ability to pass a Disclosure Scotland check for obtaining an airport security pass.
