Position: B1.3 Licensed Engineer (AW109, AW139)

Shift Pattern: 7 on / 7 off (if more than 2 years on AW109 type) 

or Monday to Friday 

Location: London Biggin Hill Airport

Castle Air Ltd, with a 40-year heritage in the rotary field, is urgently seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team. We are renowned for our excellence in aircraft maintenance. Applicants must provide proof of recency and demonstrate the right to work in the UK.

Role Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a company that values quality and standards. Successful candidates will hold a UK CAA Part 66 License with type ratings on AW109 and/or AW139.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform both line and base maintenance at Castle Air facilities and off-site as required.
  • Undertake all tasks related to aircraft maintenance.
  • Ensure the highest quality and standards in work related to aircraft, components, and documentation.
  • Maintain facilities, equipment, and premises to acceptable standards.
  • Debrief operational crew members to accurately define and record defects.
  • Analyse and interpret technical aircraft information.
  • Collaborate with other Castle Air departments to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Manage stocks of consumables and parts on-site in line with company procedures.
  • Aircraft towing and moving.

Person Specification:

Experience:

  • Relevant experience and time on helicopters, with time on the AW109/AW139 being essential.

  • Excellent team worker with good work and safety ethics.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a small team.
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Numerical skills.
  • Motivated to provide high standards of work.
