B2 Licensed Engineer

JMC are working with a MRO company based in Birmingham, looking to recruit a new B2 Licensed Engineer to join their team.   

This client is a leading MRO dealing with line and base maintenance as well as interior modifications and fuel systems repair and maintenance for both commercial and military aircraft. The company has been operating for close to 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and encouraging a warm, positive environment to aid employee progression.   

This is a Permanent Position based in Birmingham, working on a 5/5/4 shift pattern.

The Role: The primary purpose of this role is to carry out and certify aircraft maintenance within the limitations of their company approvals.     

Other duties involve: 

• Wiring terminations and testing. 
• Removal and installation of various shelves, panels and equipment. 
• Loom Manufacture and testing. 
• Systems testing. 
• Report to the Production Manager as required    

Skills and experience required: In order to be successful in this role the B2 Licensed Engineer will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:   

• EASA Part 66 B2 License 
• Type rated on Boeing 737NG 
• Previous aircraft production supervisory experience 
• Previous modification experience 
• Military aircraft experience essential 
• Inspection experience in both modification and Production environment 
• Excellent knowledge of Avionics systems 
• Excellent interpersonal skills 
• Organisational skills 
• Good communication skills 
• Knowledge of MS Office applications 
• Eligible to work and live in the UK 
• Subject to UK security Vetting
