Responsible for service delivery of the baggage handling, PLB, Bridge Mounted Equipment (BME), Fixed Ground Power Units (FGPU), and Fixed Pre-conditioned Air Units (FPCA) operations. Ensure that services being provided meet or exceed all regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices, and stakeholders' expectations in line with corporate policy and within the given budgets. Accountable for safe, secure, and smooth running of the baggage handling, PLB, BME, FGPU, and FPCA operations from customer experience, OTP, and equipment, systems & facilities availability perspectives. A champion for team work, provide leadership, guidance, and support to all relevant stakeholders in the baggage handling and PLB/BME/FGPU/FPCA processes.
Requirements
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in airport operations or aviation management is an advantage.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in baggage handling operations, logistics, or airport operations.
- At least 1–2 years of leadership or management experience in a similar environment, such as an airport, airline, or logistics hub.
- Familiarity with baggage handling systems (BHS) and automated luggage sorting systems.
