Job Summary: To ensure smooth working of Cabin Crew operations and effective Base Administration. To ensure Cabin Crew deliver on board safe, efficient, and superlative service experience to all customers. To review performance and mentor, coach and motivate the Base Team and crew and have an efficient working environment
Job Description:
1) Ensure that Cabin Crew are conversant and Compliant with all relevant DGCA regulations, company SOPs with regards to safety and service on board, grooming regulations and Discipline standards and be updated with any amendments to the SOP's communicated through circulars and notices.
2) Report all safety and service related / critical concerns to VP- In- flight Services and Dy. General Manager In-flight services.
3) Liaise with other departments like Catering, OCC, Airport services, and cabin appearance to contribute towards OTP. Ensure 100% OTP from IFS end.
4) Resolve conflict and provide coaching and counselling to crew on matters pertaining to individual performance, knowledge base, disciplinary issues, customer service-related concerns.
5) Ensure adequate manning levels at all Base functions and represent In-flight department in Cabin Crew recruitment drives.
6) Monitor crew performance by actively attending pre-flight briefings, post flight de-briefings, carrying out surprise and Planned transit ground audits and in-flight audits. Submit comprehensive audit reports.
7) Ensure effective Base administration. Ensure Cabin Crew files, mandate reports / data files and notice boards are kept up to date. Provide daily / weekly / monthly data as required from time to time by Dy. General Manager In-flight services.
8) Ensure crew are rostered for Unplanned flights and operational exigencies in coordination with the rostering department, ensure smooth operation of Charter, VIP, and any Special flights.
9) Check / Review flight reports / e-FR’s, escalate all critical and repetitive concerns to the respective departments and ensure effective closure.
10) Operate flight in exigency or as required.

Position reports to: Deputy General Manager Inflight Services
Position supervises: Team of 4-5 Asst. Base Managers / Base Admin and Cabin Crew
Location: Bengaluru Airport
