The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Internal Audit Quality Manager to join the Chief Aerospace Safety Office (CASO) team in Charleston, SC and Puget Sound area.
Position Overview:
Join our dynamic CASO team as a First Line Manager in Quality Audit, where your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellence across our operations in the Puget Sound area. In this position, you will travel between various sites, fostering a culture of consistency and adherence to best practices. Your leadership will guide teams in implementing standardized processes and tools, ensuring that our commitment to quality is upheld at every level. Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees who conduct internal audits to evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations
Develops and executes annual audit business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance
Provides education and coaching on the Quality Management System
May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies
Acquires and manages resources and leads evaluation of process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Work Authorization:
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 + years of experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
3 + years of experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, process specifications and Quality Management System documentation
3 + years of experience working within a manufacturing and/or quality production environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
3+ years of experience leading teams including cross-functional teams
3+ years of experience in root cause analysis/systematic problem solving
