Cabin Engineering Intern

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What You’ll Do:

• Support cabin engineering projects through technical analysis and design work
• Assist in the creation and modification of engineering drawings and documentation
• Participate in cross-functional design reviews and technical meetings
• Help develop and validate interior concepts using CAD tools
• Contribute to structural analysis and material selection processes
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and presentations
• Support prototype development and testing activities

 

What You Need:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of mechanical design principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work on site in a team environment

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
