General Responsibilities:

  • The employee is responsible for driving ABM Aviation team vans.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
 

Specific Duties/Essential Job Functions:

Cabin Service:

  • Responsible for operating cabin service vehicles,
  • Responsible for knowing and following all of ABM Aviation's and the Client’s policies and procedures for operating the designated service vehicles and equipment.

Transportation:

  • Responsible for transporting passengers outside the airport using any ABM Aviation vehicles other than passenger shuttles and buses.

  • The individual may be required to stand, walk, and climb stairs for the majority of the work shift.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals, and employee handbooks.
  • Must also possess and utilize effective listening skills.

Math Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 

 

General Company Requirements:

 

  • Employee must comply with the Company’s uniform and grooming standards and must wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times. 
  • Employee must comply with all guidelines and policies set forth in the Air Serv Corporation Employee Handbook.  These policies include, but are not limited to, the Company’s Zero Tolerance Discrimination and Harassment Policy, Retaliation Policy, Ethics Policy, and Security Policy.  Employee must also comply with regulatory agency requirements, including, but not limited to, the ADA, ACAA, DOT, TSA, FAA, and Federal, State, and Local authorities.

 

Education: 
High School Diploma or GED preferred. 

 

Experience:
Previous customer service experience preferred. 

Driving in a professional work environment

Must have a clean driving record and a active state issued driver license. 

 

Overall:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must Pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check

All drivers must have a valid Drivers Permit. The Driver Permit must have the specific vehicle /equipment type checked and approved on the reverse side of the Drivers Permit for an employee to be qualified on that vehicle/equipment.
Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge, and Customs Seal (if applicable), including successful completion of a background check and ten-year work history.
