BaseLine Aviation Services are recruiting a CAMO Manager to join our customer on permanent basis in Surrey, UK.


** This is an on-site role, candidates must have the right to live and work in UK**


Key Responsibilities:

Post Holder for Continuing Airworthiness will ensure that all Continuing Airworthiness Management is carried out according to regulation.

Ensure that all maintenance is carried out on time and to an approved standard.

Responsible for the following:

  • Establishment and development of Continuing Airworthiness policy, including the approval of customer maintenance programmes.
  • Analysis of the effectiveness of the maintenance programme.
  • Monitoring the implementation of the maintenance programme selection of the Part 145 maintenance contractors and establishment and amendment of maintenance contracts.
  • Ensuring the department remains in compliance with its own procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring technical records are kept, controlled and presented to the CAA if requested.
  • Monitoring of maintenance standards.
  • Modifications and repairs are reviewed and carried out to an approved standard.
  • Airworthiness Directive review and embodiment.
  • Non mandatory modificaiton embodiment policy.
  • Monitoring of all defects and their rectification.
  • Monitoring of line and base maintenance activity.
  • Ensuring personnel are duly trained and authorised to issue CRS, where necessary and appropriate by the contracted Part 145 maintenance organisation.
  • Ensure the airworthiness review certificate for each aircraft operated by the company remains valid.
  • Analysis of and reporting any occurrences of a maintenance nature to the CAA and the aircraft manufacturer. 
  • The review, amendement and control of the CAME.
  • Review and implementation of any additional CAA requirements.
  • Liaison meetings to discuss maintenance, airworthiness, compliance and MOR issues.
  • Reviewing weight and balance reports.

Qualifications:

Possess either an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license or a degree,

Minimum 5 years experience as an Airworthiness Engineer.

Previous experience as Form 4 Post Holder is desired.

Expert knowledge of Part 145 regulations, AMM, Part CAMO and SMS.

Effective manager with high level of technical skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Competent IT skills.

Ability to work as part of a team

Good organisational skills.
